Starting on the East side of San José, the first thing we will see is Democracy Plaza and the National Museum, the Courts, Los Yoses, San Pedro Mall, Hispanidad Fountain and the Rodrigo Facio Campus of the University of Costa Rica.

VOLCANO TOURS

Arenal Volcano:
The Arenal Volcano is about 2 hours and 30 minutes from the hotel and is always a good experience for all the tourists, the Arenal Volcano erupts every 24 hours a day and you can see the spectacular views at night from your hotel room.

Poas Volcano:
Poas Volcano is about 40 min from the Hotel; the Poás Volcano is an active stratovolcano in central Costa Rica. There are two crater lakes near its summit. Poás has erupted 39 times since 1828. The volcano is located within the Poas Volcano National Park. It is considered the largest active crater in the world, about 1 mile (1.6 km.) wide and 320 meters deep, with frequent geyser-like eruptions.

Canopy :
Canopy Adventure in Herredia has spectacular views you will always remember!! This canopy tour is about 10 minutes from the Hotel and it’s a mixture of ecology and adventure tourism.

Canopy San Lorenzo, The San Lorenzo Canopy is located 80 kilometers ( 50 miles ) away from the hotel on the road from San Ramon to La Fortuna just before the Bajo de los Rodriguez.

The sliding cable is divided in two parts:
The forest section, which starts with small cables so the passenger will acquire confidence while admiring the forest’s canopy. The adventure section, with much longer cables suspended from high platforms that require large doses of adrenaline. The total length of all the cables is 2500 meters or 8202, 10 feet. There are 19 platforms and the San Lorenzo Canopy includes a 750 meter (or 2460 feet) cable, one of the longest in the country.
